Contribute
Under Minnesota law, once a year you can donate $100 per couple (or $50 per person) to a political candidate and receive a full refund through the state's Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program.
STEP 1:
Contribute online or send us a check.
STEP 2:
After we receive your contribution, our campaign treasurer will mail you a receipt and a refund form provided by the MN Department of Revenue.
STEP 3:
Complete the form and mail it along with your receipt to the Minnesota Department of Revenue.
STEP 4:
The State of Minnesota will send you a check fully refunding your contribution in approximately two to four weeks.
Through Minnesota's Political Contribution Refund program, your donation of $50/person or $100/couple is fully refundable. A maximum of $500/person is allowed by state law. State law prohibits candidates from accepting business checks. Your contribution is not tax-deductible for state income tax purposes. Campaign finance regulations require us to use best efforts to obtain name, mailing address, occupation and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $100 in an election cycle.
